Located in a modern industrial structure
and using the most advanced technology available on the
market for extracting, storing and bottling water, Hidrobrás
established one of the most complete mineral water facilities
in Minas Gerais and Brazil.
Currently, Hidrobrás makes use of a sheltered
area of 4,000 m2, which protects the industrial complex,
from the extraction phase to distribution.
The springs are protected by chalet style stone buildings,
surrounded by electric fencing, which prevent any type
of intrusion. Thus protected, the water that emerges
through geological layers of up to 100 meters deep is
collected and directed through aerial tubing made from
stainless steel, covered and thermally insulated, up
to the tanks, which are also made of stainless steel,
with a capacity of 50 thousand liters each.
From the tanks, through stainless steel piping, the
water passes through eight automatic bottling lines,
all composed from equipment, most of which is imported
and assembled in hermetically controlled rooms, to maintain
the water’s natural quality as it emerged from
its source. The bottling rooms are equipped with positive
pressure equipment with air filtration.
As all production is automatic – bottling lines,
capping, labeling, encoding, sealing and wrapping –
human intervention only occurs in the case of an emergency.
